Northern Lights

Iceland is known for northern lights, just not usually in August. When the sun goes down at 23:00 and is back up by 02:30, the sky never really gets dark and the lights can be hard to see. This trip we got some amazing lights, and were able to see them from the deck of the lodge we were staying at!

The Portfolios in a Week tours start and end in Reykjavik, and a chance to wander to streets for some urban shots is always fun.

To take in some of the wonderful scenes in Iceland, you really need to take a panonrama. All these images were done with an iPhone 7 'in camera'.
